The President of the National Union of Students has described the announcement of cuts to bursaries for nursing and midwifery students enrolling this year a "disaster". NUS-USI President Adrianne Peltz was commenting on the Health Minister's announcement on Thursday that annual bursaries will be cut by almost 15% from A 6055 to A 5165.
