Doctors and nurses in northeast Nevada battled the frigid weather this week to provide hundreds of free flu shots at a temporary vaccine drive-thru. Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital organized the fee shots in Elko for area residents age 18 and older regardless of whether they were insured.
