ACCIDENT and Emergency staff at Russells Hall Hospital are hoping kindhearted members of the public will help them carry out a much-needed redecoration of the ward's relatives' room.

A privately owned hospital has been put up for sale for 2.5 million despite its owner still allegedly owing employees more than 350,000. The Royal Bucks Hospital closed in October but staff say he failed to pay them for three consecutive months and did not honour redundancy packages.

ARROWE Park Hospital's neo-natal unit could be put under pressure if plans to transfer premature babies from North Wales are given the go-ahead. The Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is looking to move any baby who is born more than 16 weeks early and is in need of intensive care to the Wirral-based hospital.
