Next weekend, a small group of doctors will perform a marathon day of surgery at a Little Rock hospital, replacing hips and knees for more than two dozen patients who have no insurance and can't afford the procedures.
"It's a good feeling to see those people going through such a bad time and have something good happen to them even if it is just for a few minutes," said Woodward.
Connecticut's Lawrence and Memorial Hospital has locked out hundreds of nurses and health care workers after they ended a four-day strike and tried to return to work.
