Health and education issues ignored in Ontario election campaign: advocates (5 stories)

With the Ontario election campaign dominated by the Liberal government's scandals and the Tories' pledge to cut 100,000 public sector jobs, some worry that health and education, two areas of top concern to voters, have received little attention.

The quality of care at Louisiana's nursing homes is among the worst in the nation, with high rates of bed sores and physical restraints and low levels of nursing staff, according to a state legislative report released Monday.
