| Nursing - News July 26, 2014 A controversial Southern California-based hospital chain that buys financially struggling hospitals has surfaced as a bidder for the beleaguered Daughters of Charity Health System, which operates four Bay Area hospitals that serve the poor. Ella Moton, a certified nursing assistant, recalled a time when she clocked out and went back upstairs to hold the hand of a dying patient at the nursing home where she worked, Alaris Health' HarborView Healthcare Center in Jersey City. Ruth May, chief nurse for the East of England, visited the hospital, in Nethermayne, after it came out of special measures and was rated good by the Care Quality Commission.
