Harrogate hospital judged as 'safe and effective' (6 stories)

The quality of care at Harrogate District Hospital has been judged as "safe, effective and well-led" in a new report by England's chief inspector of hospitals.

Nurses picketed at the Alta Bates Summit hospital on Ashby Avenue in Berkeley today, Wednesday, to protest a large number of layoffs, job restructuring and service cuts.

Hospital bosses have submitted plans to Boston Borough Council to knock down the three-storey buildings, which it says are not fit for purpose and have been replaced by newer accomdation, built about six or seven years ago.

EVERY year dozens of families across Oxfordshire are supported by the dedicated team of Rosy nurses.
